Details : Lord Kurzon made the trek to Kuari pass and therefore this trek named behined him as Curzon's trail. It is very popular among European and American Travelers. In 1905 Lord Curzon reached Kuari pass from Ghat . Places on the way of this tour are Rishikesh, Rudrprayag, Ghat, Ramni, Jhinjipani, Panairani, Dhakwani, Kuari Pass, Khulara, Talli, Auli, Joshimath. In short version, this trek can also be done from Auli to Kuari Pass and trek down to Tapovan at Mallari Road. As the Curzon Trail takes you through lush green fields, remote villages and virgin forests. Providing an enchanting view of the imposing peaks of Nanda Devi , Kamet ,Chaukhamba, Dronagiri and Hathi-Ghodi Parvat. From kuari pass this trek can be extneded to Ghat or Roopkund.

Day 1: Arrive Delhi:

Met upon arrival at Delhi International Airport and transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.

 

Day 2: Delhi - Rishikesh:

Drive to Rishikesh (225 km) via Haridwar. Rishikesh is known as 'Gateway to Himalayas' and center of Yoga & Meditation. In the afternoon visit various Ashrams and Temples. Enjoy the 'Ganga Aarti' in the evening. Overnight stay in hotel.

 

Day 3: Rishikesh - Ghat:

Morning after breakfast drive to reach Ghat (1331 mt) by covering approx 220 kms (7-8 Hrs). Arrive Ghat and overnight stay in tents.

 

Day 4: Ghat - Ramni:

Morning after breakfast start trekking to reach Ramni (1982 Mt) by covering approx 10 kms (4 Hrs). Arrive and overnight stay in tents.

 

Day 5: Ramni - Sem Kharak - Jhinjipani:

Morning after breakfast start trekking to reach Jhinjipani (2015 Mt) via Sem Kharak by covering approx 13 kms. Overnight stay in tents.

 

Day 6: Jhinjipani - Panairani:

Morning after breakfast start trekking to reach Panairani (2043 Mt) by covering approx 12 kms. Overnight stay in tents.

 

Day 7: Panarani - Dhakwani:

Morning after breakfast start trekking to reach Dhakwani (2486 Mt) by covering approx 13 kms. Overnight stay in tents.

 

Day 8: Dhakwani - Kuari Pass:

Morning after early breakfast start trekking (10 km / 4-5 Hrs)) to cross Kuari Pass (4268 Mt). From the Pass you can have a breathtaking view of Nanda Devi,Dronagiri Chaukhmba and other numerous peaks of Garhwal Himalaya. Overnight stay in tents on the other side of the pass.

 

Day 9: Kuari Pass - Tali:

Morning after breakfast start trekking to reach Talii crosing through the medows and pine forest.Arrive and set the camp for over night stay.

 

Day 10: Tali - Auli - Joshimath:

Morning after breakfast start trekking to reach Auli .(12 kms/4 hrs to reach Auli (2519 Mt). En route cross the famous bugyals (meadows) of Gurson and will also get views of the route leading to the famous Nanda Devi sanctuary, along the Rishi Ganga. Auli has one of the longest ski slopes and one can also have a panoramic view of the Nanda Devi group of peaks. Further drive to Joshimath.Overnight stay in Hotel / Tourist Banglow.

 

Day 11: Joshimath - Rishikesh:

Morning after breakfast start journey to reach Rishikesh (275 km Drive). Arrive and check into hotel for overnight stay.

 

Day 12: Rishikesh - Delhi:

Drive 225 km to Delhi. En route stop at Haridwar to visit Har-Ki-Pauri Ghat. Continue driving to Delhi and on arrival check-into hotel for overnight stay.

 

Day 13: Depart Delhi:

Optional sightseeing of Delhi. Later departure transfer to international airport to board flight for onward destination.
